Marking Player

Marking the opponent is very important in term of defensive in futsal. By marking the opponent player by 1:1, it will surely reduce the chance of letting off goal.

That is the most basic type of defensive.

When marking the challenger there is also proper technique to use, your body should be in a slightly crouched but stable position with your eyes focused on the opponent's hips and conscious of the immediate surroundings through peripheral vision.

Your distance from the futsal opponent depends on the skills of both of you as well as on the position of the marking.

The more skilled the opponent the further distant the marking, the nearer you are to your futsal goal the closer the marking should be.
